Often recognize as the "Green Church with the Red Door", this Church is an outstanding example of outstanding Gothic Renaissance Architecture.  The construction was a highlight in the career of S. Lewis Lionberger, founder of Lionberger Construction, as he built the original sanctuary in 1949.  A fellowship hall addition was added in 1976.

Smith Mountain Lake State Park
Smith Mountain Lake
Moneta, Virginia

The construction of the bath houses and concessions building for the Department of State Parks was quite an experience.  The facility was constructed at an existing State Park, so access to the beach had to be maintained throughout the project.  To accomodate the handicap, there is a concrete sidewalk providing access into the water.
