Recent Community Service Highlights

Toys For Tots

At Lionberger Construction, Toys for Tots is more than a tradition—it’s a heartfelt commitment. Each holiday season, our leadership, employees, and trusted partners unite to bring the magic of Christmas to children in our community. Since 2020, we’ve proudly donated over 3,700 toys—a record-breaking milestone made possible by the unwavering generosity of our team and collaborators. Together, we’re spreading joy, one toy at a time.

National Heart Association

Lionberger Construction is proud to support the annual Heart Walk for the second consecutive year. This meaningful event raises critical funds for lifesaving research and innovations that combat the nation’s leading causes of death—heart disease and stroke. By walking together, we’re helping to drive breakthroughs that save lives and build healthier communities.

Habitat For Humanity

We were honored to take part in Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program. This empowering national initiative provides women with hands-on opportunities to learn construction skills while making a tangible impact in their communities. Guided by experienced professionals, volunteers come together to build or renovate homes—fostering confidence, collaboration, and lasting change.

Minnick Education Center

Lionberger staff put hours and manpower to work locally when they helped spread mulch for the new playground at the Minnick Education Center so area children could enjoy a safe, beautiful area to play.

Kiwanis Club of Roanoke

Lionberger Construction employees proudly teamed up to help preserve one of Roanoke’s most iconic landmarks—the Mill Mountain Star. As part of a community initiative led by the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke, our team joined other volunteers to clean up the star, nearby parks, and surrounding hiking trails. By picking up litter and beautifying the area, we’re helping ensure this beloved overlook remains a welcoming destination for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
